Beaumont Crossing Plaza Grand Opening on July 11th
The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of Beaumont Crossing, a new public plaza at NE 44th Avenue and NE Fremont Street, on Saturday, July 11, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The free, family-friendly and pet-friendly celebration marks the opening of a new gathering space designed to bring neighbors together and support the vibrant Beaumont-Wilshire business district. Visitors can enjoy an evening of live music, interactive activities, and community fun, including:
Music Bingo hosted by Tomorrow's Verse and Breeze & Branch
Mini plaza flower painting hosted by Breeze & Branch
A pet photo booth in celebration of All American Pet Photo Day
Live music by Rosie Haze
Frozen treats
Coloring sheets and interactive math activities from Sylvan Learning
and more family friendly activities from businesses in our district
Beaumont Crossing transforms a portion of NE 44th Avenue into a welcoming public space where neighbors can gather, relax, and connect while enjoying the local businesses along NE Fremont Street.
"This plaza is an exciting new addition to our neighborhood and creates a place where community can flourish," said organizers. "We're thrilled to welcome everyone to experience Beaumont Crossing and celebrate what makes the Beaumont neighborhood such a special place."
The grand opening is presented through a partnership between the Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood Association, the Beaumont Business Association, and the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) as part of ongoing efforts to create vibrant public spaces and strengthen neighborhood connections.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or use public transportation when possible.

The Beaumont Business Association is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the businesses and vitality businesses located on and near NE Fremont St from NE 37th to NE 57th.
